Raja was born in 1965. He lives in Delhi, India and studied architecture at Pusa Polytechnic. He worked as an architect at Satish Gujral.

His painting reflects an ability to capture his thoughts and feelings and express them on the canvas. He recently won a special honor award from the ART Ellipse International Art Contest in July, 2015.
